While doing my own research on cat health, I discovered two disappointing phenomenons among all the sites I found relating to this issue. It is these two issues which inspired me to research and develop my own website on this matter.

It seems that sites specialize in particular areas of cat health issues. But what if I just want to develop a broad understanding of my cat’s health? What if I don’t have the slightest idea why my kitty is suffering so I have no idea where to begin or what search terms to put into a search engine?
With Cat Health Problems, I will do my best to collect and explain every possible problem your dear cat could be suffering. In some cases, I may not be able to provide the most comprehensive information on a specific matter… but that’s okay, because at least you’ll be able to identify whether you should pursue it further or not, and from there I will link to more detailed resources which already exist out there.

There seems to be a polarized rift between the formal cat medicine community and people who are devout to treating their precious pussies with only natural remedies and treatments. So often you will find a purely clinical site or a site dedicated strictly to all-natural, organic or alternative means to treat your kitty.
How do you know what really works and what if you’re not devoutly faithful to either side and just want what’s best for your cat?
Wherever possible I will provide explanations of both official diagnosis and treatments and the most common natural alternative. I will try to impartially explain the strengths and weaknesses of each so you can make a more informed decision on how to proceed.
